Oct 9 LG Polls: PLASIEC conducts mock election today

Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission (PLASIEC) is at to conduct its first-ever mock election today, Sept 28, 2024.

A statement signed by the Chairman, Plangji Cishak, said that the mock election, which starts from 9 am to 12 noon, is to test Voter Verification Software ahead of the Oct 9 LG polls. The exercise will take place in 6 polling units across Plateau State as follows:

1. Wase – Danbiram 02 (Central Primary School 1, PU 004)
2. Shendam – Pangwasa 13 (Naburuk 1, PU 05)
3. Pankshin – Dokpai 03 (Ngolong Ban, PU 005)
4. Mangu – Ampang West 01 (Pushik 1, PU 003)
5. Riyom – Shonong 13 (LWA Primary School, PU 03)
6. Jos North – Angwan Rogo/Rimi (Ungwan Rogo Primary School, PU 028).
